I forgive you though mate for your sorry attempt due to the fine choice of avatar [again Taffy tries to insert Jizz smilie but must make do with another failed attempt - off he trots then to have a glorious wank instead]
As was pointed out by D(ave)WW it was indeed a terrible terrible pun. It was all my own work an' all !!!
Oh - and Kirsty's mine. You've bin here long enough to know that by now. No sloppy seconds either.

I thought it was quite good. Then again, that could explain why I have no friends to alienate.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

better than pearce for signings maybe.

he bought in quite a few decent players for the chavs:

Gallas, Makelele, Lampard, Cech, Gudjohnsen, Duff, Bridge, Cole and Robben were all brought in by him. some important chelsea players in there.

he was ****e at valencia though, and parma finished 12 in serie A.... clearly any manager can do well with money

A pity. I've been using the "cloudy and rainy" joke and though no-one's actually laughed lots of people have smiled in that 'that's really clever but not at all funny' way.

Who wants a bet Juve will not score more than 40 goals next season in Serie A.
Del Piero & Trezeguet will be converted to CB while the new 8-2-0 system will work wonders.

not as if Juve arent to adverse to a bit of betting.

Ranieri was always a nice likeable bloke but about as tactically aware as a dead camel
