It would be interesting if he had somewhere else to go. It will also be intriguing to see if he stays whether this affects his chances of playing. Clearly playing one of Ballack or Lampard would benefit the balance of Chelsea's three in the middle.
I dont disagree, my point was, if you were offered 110 grand a week to play football, would you say, no thanks, i want 130 grand? Im sure youd bite their ****ing hand off same as we all would.
Footballers lose touch with reality when theyre pulling down money like that. To knock back 110 grand because you want 130 grand like all the "cool kids" are getting is just a blatant ego trip IMO, its not really going to effect him financially if he "only" pulls 110 is it?

Very true. Plus at 29, it's also his last huge contract.

Poor Frank. For all they are, Ginsters are f#cking expensive.

Tax free he would. I bet there are clubs who want him regardless of what a Barca executive says. Vitally important to Chelsea, the amount of goals he scores from midfield is unreal.

Would be interesting to see if Ballack could step up to the plate if Lampard left. I wish one of our midfielders could get tha same amount of deflected goals as him, we'd be fighting at the top of the table then.

            FLMAO

I've been waiting for the day when all these tenous links with big clubs (brought about by his agent no doubt) would be exposed as nothing more than paper talk.

It's been fantastic watching the decline of Lampards reputation. Seems the fans and media have turned on the fat overrated tosser and its about time. Now he's hoping to escape to a country where his qualities are less well known

            MLS beckons you fat ****
