Tevez will do the same, mark my words. Real Madrid will nip in and sign him & leave the scum wanting again.
    sadly wont happen...

Why it’s United for me, says Tevez

Carlos Tevez's £25million move to Manchester United is under severe scrutiny by the Premier League. United have taken their summer spending past the £75m-mark by agreeing a deal for 23-year-old Tevez with his owner, businessman Kia Joorabchian.

Last night Tevez said: "For me, Manchester United will be a sensational destination and to be a member of Sir Alex Ferguson's squad will be absolutely spectacular.

"My dream is to be an idol in English football and I can achieve this now."

That was because of Kenyon who was on the way to Chelsea and didn't want their biggest rivals to sign Ronaldinho.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

we've got money so lets spend it. torres was a great start, but lets hope it won't be the last...

A major difference between this year and last is we have different owners, we won't know how this regime work until a couple of season under thier belt and if in the mean time we reduce prices isn that good buisness

Man Utd close in on Tevez signing

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says the club are close to signing Carlos Tevez from West Ham.

The 23-year-old Argentine striker agreed personal terms with United last week, according to his representatives.

The Premier League says the transfer must be "done directly" with West Ham rather than his agent Kia Joorabchian.

Ferguson said: "We are in negotiations and want to make sure there are no side issues. The essential parts are agreed. Hopefully it will be finalised soon."

He added: "Club solicitor Maurice Watkins has been working on it for a month, maybe more, to make sure the deal is perfectly clear.

"To be honest, I thought it would have all been sorted by the weekend just gone. It must be the Premier League that is holding it up.

"From what chief executive David Gill and Maurice said, everything was ready to go. Unless something is being held back from us, I don't know of anything that is holding it up."

However, last week West Ham chairman Eggert Magnusson insisted Tevez is a registered Hammers player and is expected to return for the new season.

But Joorabchian's lawyers say the deal has progressed with the "knowledge and permission" of the Upton Park outfit.

Tevez has made no secret of his desire to move to Old Trafford, a proposed transfer he has described as a "dream", and it appears it has taken a step closer to being realised.

He was involved in the saga that led to West Ham being fined £5m for breaching transfer rules, although they crucially escaped a points deduction.

The Premier League wants to ensure Joorabchian is not paid any of the fee after previous questions over the Argentine forward's "ownership".

And the waters are further muddied by the fact that West Ham, who insist they cut all ties with Joorabchian after they were fined in April, expect Tevez to return to east London after he concludes his international duties at the Copa America in Venezuela.

Magnusson said earlier this month: "Carlos Tevez is a registered West Ham player, contracted to the club until June 2010.

"There is no agreement with West Ham for Carlos Tevez to leave the club and we expect him to return in time for next season's preparations.

"No decision on his future can be reached without the agreement of West Ham."

One possible avenue would be for West Ham to be paid a transfer fee and then agree a compensation figure with Joorabchian for breaching contracts with his company, Media Sports Investments (MSI), when the Hammers terminated third-party agreements following their fine.

However, it is understood the League would want a substantial chunk of the transfer fee to remain at West Ham rather than it all be handed over to MSI in compensation.

If that was the case, they could be accused of merely covering up the third-party agreements that have caused so much controversy.

What a MESS. The FA should get this squared away... they've compromised themselves to the point where there seem to be no specific rules. This is a JOKE.

League say no as Tevez tries to cancel contract

            · MSI and player apply to cancel his registration
            · Court likely as Man United refuse to pay Hammers fee

            The Guardian

Manchester United's pursuit of Carlos Tevez edged closer to the courts last night after the Premier League rejected an attempt by MSI, the offshore company that brought the player to the Premiership, to cancel his registration with West Ham United. The Premier League also rejected a personal letter from Tevez in which he notified them that he was terminating his contract with the London club.

The Premier League refused to allow both Tevez's letter and MSI's request on the grounds that it does not consider that MSI have any rights over the player's registration, having been informed by West Ham that the club has torn up its agreements with MSI. Last Thursday the league ruled that Tevez could not join Manchester United unless West Ham received any transfer fee in full.

            Article continues
The moves by MSI to free up the player to join United came as it emerged that the Old Trafford hierarchy has ruled out paying West Ham anything for the player as they do not consider that the London club are his owners.

United's position, established after talks with MSI, who own Tevez's commercial rights, directly contradicts the Premier League's view. United are satisfied however that West Ham have no rights over Tevez and Old Trafford has been in negotiations with MSI's front man, Kia Joorabchian, over a two-year loan deal that would include a right to buy the player for a pre-arranged fee during that period. United also think that Tevez's registration will transfer to them as they believe that technically the Argentinian forward is a free-agent.

United's stance threatens to undermine the agreement reached between the Premier League and West Ham in April after the club was found guilty of breaking rules governing third-party agreements. On the morning after West Ham were fined £5m for breaching regulation U18 the Premier League board informed West Ham that Tevez could continue playing for them if the offending contract, between West Ham and MSI, was unilaterally terminated by the club.

West Ham are bound by undertakings given in a letter to the Premier League following the ruling in which they said the contract with MSI had been terminated. The league also made it clear that it has power of veto over any transfer, and that it would only accept a commercially realistic transfer fee for the player. The league will also not wave through any deal in which Joorabchian was the primary beneficiary. Were they to allow any such deal, or for the transfer to take place without West Ham's approval, it would make a mockery of the assertion that the third-party agreement with MSI was terminated.

In order for the Premier League's ruling to hold water West Ham have to demonstrate that they own the player, exercising their rights by acting as the selling club. Last night a West Ham source insisted that it had received no offer from Manchester United, and until it did Tevez would remain their player.

This leaves legal action in either the civil courts or the Court of Arbitration for sport as the the most likely resolution to the deadlock, and the escape route that would allow all parties to retire satisfied.

If, say, the CAS were to assert MSI's rights to receive a fee for Tevez the Premier League would have little choice but to allow the deal to proceed, but would be seen to have defended the integrity of its regulations. West Ham, who had not expected a transfer feel before the league's intervention, would also be happy with such an outcome.

League warns West Ham over Tevez

Tevez has his heart set on a move to Manchester United
The Premier League has warned West Ham they risk more disciplinary action over the Carlos Tevez saga if they do not receive a transfer fee for the striker.
BBC sports editor Mihir Bose reports that West Ham face action if they do not "assert their rights" over Tevez.

Tevez wants to join Manchester United but the deal has reached an impasse.

Businessman Kia Joorabchian insists he owns the 22-year-old's economic rights but the Premier League says West Ham must receive any transfer fee.

The confusion was created last season when West Ham failed to inform the Premier League they had entered into an agreement with Joorabchian's company MSI when they signed Tevez and fellow Argentine Javier Mascherano.

The Hammers were fined £5.5m and warned that Tevez would be unable to play for them while the third-party agreement was still in place.

I suspect what will happen is that Tevez will tell Fifa that he doesn't want to go back to West Ham

West Ham immediately ripped it up - but Joorabchian claims he did not agree to that.

However, the Premier League is now insisting that Tevez's transfer must only involve West Ham and Manchester United.

Bose said: "There are voices being raised in football who are not all happy about the Premier League's role in the transfer.

"They feel the Premier League, which is owned by the clubs, is exceeding its regulatory powers and accuse it of using bully-boy tactics to force West Ham to toe the line.

"The Premier League vehemently rejects this charge. It says West Ham told them they had torn up the agreement with MSI and had complete control over Carlos Tevez, there was no third party influence of the player.

"The Premier League merely wants West Ham to stick to this agreement and prove the undertakings they gave the Premier League still hold."

Tevez and his representatives have already agreed a deal with United.

Bose said: "The terms are he will go on a two-year loan and that a loan fee will be paid to Joorabchian's company of about £10m.

"The player himself will get about £4.5m a year and Manchester United could buy the player but would probably have to pay another £30m."

He added: "I suspect what will happen is that Tevez will tell Fifa that he doesn't want to go back to West Ham and the world governing body will have to resolve whether a player can be forced to stay at a club."

It is understood Tevez's camp believe the Premier League can no longer act as independent arbiter in the case.

The Argentine has already written to the League and West Ham to ask them to terminate his Hammers contract - a request refused by both parties.

Fifa says it may be prepared to step in - but the matter would first have to go through the Football Association, which oversees domestic transfers.

A spokesman said: "Fifa considers the Tevez situation to be a domestic matter and therefore of the competence of the FA.

"If Fifa was to receive a formal request from any of the parties involved, it would look at the matter.

"However, the possibility exists that we would still determine that it is the FA who is competent to decide on the case."

Joorabchian is now threatening to give important documentation to Sheffield United that could get West Ham relegated.

All this because West Ham are refusing to give Tevez the transfer that him and Joorabchian want

We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

                    Serves them right.

One thing that puzzles me about this whole Tevez saga is why don't Man U sign him on the same terms as we signed Masher?

We've still got to deal with him to conclude the Mascherano transfer, lets hope that goes a lot smoother than all this Tevez business
