Is no-one watching this?.. its 0-0 but a brilliant game, some good football too.
i watched the first half......the quality of football was shocking IMO. They all have terrible first touch, and the diving was disgraceful.
I left at HT due to it being so bad

Unlike Australia, who's quality of football saw them eliminated in the quarters?
Second half was much better and Iraq won! Congratulations to them, much the better side and if ever a country needed a lift, it's Iraq.
What have Australia got to do with anything?
were have i said our football is superior to that of the Saudi's and Iraq???
:whatever:
FWIW i think Australia play mundane football...hoof it up to Viduka and hope someone can latch onto his pass.

I watched the whole game. Poor quality football for the most part but the Iraqi's were easily the better side and deserved their win. Delighted that they won, never has a country needed a lift like Iraq today.
well i only watched the second half, and i thought some of the football was good, 'if a bit loose'. thought the game was pretty exciting thoiugh and am glad(but dont know why) iraq won.
Can America take any credit for that win? I hope so.
It's nailed on.
He'll come out and say something along the lines that the football team was a symbol of Iraqi democracy with Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds playing together for a unified Iraq...he'll then try and claim credit for the win.

Well said Desert mate, that nation suffered aplenty for the past 20 odd years so for them to win this must be a joy to the nation.
I watched the game on Sopcast and they totally dominated the Saudis who were fave to win the tourney. They played the better football and could have scored more towards the end.
Iraq proved today that the will/big heart of man can triumph.
