i agree with you Red Polo.

am not surprised that we all hate the scum but what that paper did is very different and to me is worse than someone supporting that awful club

I don't really hate anything. Anything I dislike I tend to ignore rather than spend time dwelling on any detestation.

Of these two the Sun is easier to ignore. The Sun was a rag a long time before 1989. Hence in 1989 its opinion meant nothing to me - it was already in my ignore filter.

Utd is a different kettle of fish. I love football. They play great football. Their manager promotes attractive attacking football. Their captain is passionate about his team and his City, I admire that.

So why do I dislike them? Is it that their fans are insular and consider themselves more important than football itself? Maybe. But it's something deeper than that. Maybe it is sense of duty to my fellow reds. Why do we hate them? Someone help me.

By the way - don't you hate it when they call themselves 'the reds'. WE are The Reds (capitalised for us). They are the red devils, which is like...the gayest nickname like...ever!
