    Spot on.

Classless ****s with ideas well above their station.

Still, Jols done a reasonable job since he's been there and I still expect them to be top 6 come the end of the year.

He does need a couple of central midfielders that can actually break up opposition attacks and distribute the ball properly though.
What have I learned, Mr Mackay? Three things. One - bide your time. Two - keep your nose clean. And three - don't let the *******s grind you down

In my humble opinion he is a ****ing ace manager and has turned spurs from nobodies into the team people are/were talking about realistically breaking into the top 4.

Now all of a sudden he should be sacked. I swear to god if spurs sack him this side of christmas I will personally go and smack the chairman in the mouth, its absolutely ridiculous that the guy has been booed off after 2 defeats.

**** spurs have no class :whatever:

      Tossers

i know, prior to his arrival Spurs were at best a team with ambitions to maybe finish just in top ten, maybe a bit of cup run to the 5th round, flirt with a bit of UEFA cup challenge, but ultimately fail to qualify.
Now under him they could actually break into the top 4, but first signs that it'll be a bit harder than they thoughth and the fans are booing him and the chairman gives him the vote of confidence!! ******s, they should just sack him and get ****ing relegated whilst he ****s of to a bigger and better club

Tottenham have spent a lot of money this season, on what? In positions they really didn't need to strenghten.

Instead of spending £16.5m on Bent they should have spent the money on signing someone like Van der Vaart or Sneijder at the beginning of the transfer window.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I think they desperately needed to strengthen left-back (previously had the rubbish Lee Young-Pyo playing there) and they bought Bale, but I take your point...they need a creative midfield player.

true, it may transpire that Bent was somewhat of a vanity signing, but they did get in Bale, Kabol, Rose and a few others as well, as you say, maybe 16.5 could have bought some extra quality to their wings/ centre?.

It was obvious last year he needed to buy a top class central midfielder to dictate games and add a bit of steel to them....Jenas is a joke of a player. So i think he would have to be questioned on why he didn't do this.

Whats the stat? They are second in spending in the Prem just after the Chavs. Jol is a world class coach but at times you just wonder whether he buys for the sake of it. He didn't need to buy Bent but he went and bought him. He needed a centre back and he bought Rocha in January. Is the spending necessary? Well, after two years of failing into the top four and spending more than your neighbours, you have to think whether Jol is capable of taking them into the Champions League

He can be accused of ignoring buying players for positions that are urgent and for cover.........

He has an attacking mentality, if you score 2 we will score 3.

Having said that he Spurs have had alot of injuries this season and their form in the last two games cant really be judged by the standards which they set themselves in pre season.

Spurs fans should give it at least a month until some of their first team players get back to full fitness rather then judging them now.

They have something like 8 first team players out for the match against Derby tomorrow.

He needs to buy better. He has skilful players at his disposal, its just that he buys really poor players like Pyo Young Lee and Malbranque. These are players who would be good players at teams who are settling for mid table but at a club who badly want Champions League, these sorts of players just dont cut the mustard!

Malbranque is a good player has faulted a little since his move to Spurs, but in his defence he has been played out of position.

                              He's not a winger

Malbranque is very inconsistant and did Spurs need another midfielder at the time?
