It's not as black and white as that, and he's certainly not 'useless'.Originally posted by DJS View PostSpot on.
He's useless.
5 goals in 43 caps
Voronin's got 5 goals in 44 caps.
Heskey's performances at the back-end of last season, to keep Wigan up, and at the start of this have been fantastic, powerhouse displays. The sort we all know he's capable of but in the past produced so rarely. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Probably what gets to a lot of people about Heskey is that for three quarters of a season he usually can't be ar*ed. Bags of power, and some flashes of brilliance but most the time he just used to sulk around the pitch or fall over at the merest of touches.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostIt's not as black and white as that, and he's certainly not 'useless'.

Can't really compare Voronin and Heskey. From what I've seen of Voronin he puts in maximum effort on the pitch. The same is not true of Heskey on a lot of occasions

I wasn't comparing them at all - I was just using Voronin's record to demonstrate a ****e international scoring record does not necessarily equate to a rubbish striker.Originally posted by Sarb24 View PostProbably what gets to a lot of people about Heskey is that for three quarters of a season he usually can't be ar*ed. Heskey's been done to death - we all know what he could've been and why he failed to make the most of his massive potential. But we also know how good he can be, and lately he's been that 'raging bull' striker he always should've been, hence the call-up.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Good player though. Should probably have been given a chance before now given he can cover fullback aswell as centreback.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostThe thickest and most arrogant man I've ever met has also been called into the squad - Joleon Lescott."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

Nowt. I've said this before - he went out with a girl I worked with. She used to show me his texts - embarrassing wouldn't do it justice. There was a big night out and he came with his homies and hangers-on. ****. He encouraged a load of the girls from work into his ridiculous 4x4. One of 'em got a bit of a fag burn on his interior and the tight-fisted ******* billed her for it.Originally posted by thesilverfoxlfc View PostWhat did he do to you??
If I remember rightly Dave Jones was his manager at the time and Lescott gave him a right runaround - lying about his whereabouts, injured all the time and in no rush to get fit.
In fairness to him, his displays this term (and last) have been outstanding so maybe he's got his act together. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I can only hope that is a sick joke.Originally posted by Darth Marty View Postid put in a cheeky bid for him
Heskey is a donkey, great player who will never make it beyond playing for an average side due to being an utter pansie.
If you are blessed with the talent, frame and ability to be one of the best players of your generation but are too scared to achieve it then you only have yourself to blame.
I agree that it shows what a state England are in. Still, appreciate what little he did for us.

Shaggy I honestly think you are being kind to Heskey. He did'nt have that much potential at all.He was just another over rated player who got a break and joined a top club.Had one decent season and flopped.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostI wasn't comparing them at all - I was just using Voronin's record to demonstrate a ****e international scoring record does not necessarily equate to a rubbish striker.
