i took my first ever trip to redcafe yesterday, some great discussions going on over there. :whatever:

some said it was quiet at old toilet and were shouted down by others that said the atmosphere was great and you couldn't hear all the united fans because of where the microphones were placed

Jebus! That place really is a zoo. I checked out a few other other threads and it really does just accentuate the prawn sandwich brigade stereotype, foreigners / glory hunters who know nothing about MUFC or football. Its embarrassing for them and it makes me realise how lucky I was / am to have been raised a Red.

On an unrelated point, reading the "two points" and other similar threads over there, it really infuriates me that they still don't acknowledge us as genuine title rivals this year. Their still all completely pre-occupied with Chelski and not giving any type of credence (sp?) to the fact that maybe they should be paying more attention to the team at the other end of the East lancs. They are just totally assured of, and confident in, us just falling away as the season continues. One post makes it clear they completely assume and believe its a matter of WHEN we drop points and not IF we drop points, and I think they think they'll do us at Anfield.

It's not much different from some people on here, when talking about United, saying things like "We'll batter them" and such like.

It's simultanously humourous and embarrassing how some people have this mentality whereby they feel as though are fans are somehow hugely different from the majority of fans from other clubs.

Football fans, in general and for the most part, are basically the same, other than the colours they wear.

I cant stand it when people get all 'high and mighty' about our fans, as if we're another species or something. We've got nobheads, others have nobheads. We have glory hunters & OOTers, others do too.
