You can keep naming names but they have to want the job on Stauntons wages. You get what you pay for.Originally posted by Nic83 View PostHow about Graeme Souness? He'd get the best out of what we have and he spends a fair bit of time over here already. I'd say he'd jump at the chance and I think he would make a good International manager. For us anyway.
Thoughts?

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

650,000 not bad though is it for a part time job. I am sure there would be plenty of people willing to take that sort of cash. We wont get Rafa etc, but you would get someone decent, with experience.Originally posted by IrishPaul View PostWhat Will said above

What exactly does or did Bobby Robson do?? And i gotta agree with Quincy on this one
In fairness to Staunton(who is not management ready) look at the ****e we have in the green jersey - Championship players!! I read somewhere from some journo who compared us to Derby County.
