Yeah, I watched it. Enjoyed it too.

I like Owen, seems like a nice bloke who anyone would get on with. Not an arsehole that everyone hates like Ferdinand, Lampard and Terry etc

He does seem to have the perfect life.

I think he'd do anything to play for Liverpool again. And whilst the idea might seem a good one in reality I don't think it would work out, but I thought that about Fowler too and that turned out better than I expected. If he could guarantee no more injuries and accept being part of a squad and not the No1 striker then maybe he could do a job for us
No, no, no.........I'm only scary 'cause I'm hairy

Big year for me 2008, hope it all goes well for me, oh, and you lot too!

I like him. I've never been a real Owen trumpet-blower - I was always a Fowler man - but the programme served as a reminder to me of how fond I am of him.

The footage of him scoring on his debut at Wimbledon made me glow. I remember that night so well and it's easy to forget what a legend he was for us.

I think another reason I can't help but like him (as a person) is his passion and genuine love for horse racing. The training complex he's had built is very impressive, but I felt slightly envious that he's able to splash out about three million quid to live out his dreams. Jammy *******.

I'd bet any money he 'does a Mick Channon' and goes on to become a trainer when he hangs up his boots. At the very least he'll be a prominent owner. He seems to take it even more seriously than even Robbie does.

His hard work in coming back from these last two injuries deserves to be rewarded. He looks stronger than ever, albeit having lost a yard of pace, and it was great to see the retrospective footage of his triumphant start to this season, both for club and country.

I hope he has a good season.
Didnt see it. Any idea if there's a repeat?

Owen is a ****ing legend! I started supporting Liverpool because of him ... And I didn't see him first in a red shirt ... I saw him first at the World Cup 98.

I hope he has a quite nights against us, but a ****ing good season overall!

Did anyone tape this? I'd kill for this

You've obviously never heard a Nigel Mansell interview then.

Watched Derby V the Toon tonight, wished I hadn't, but anyway to the point; Owen came off after an hour with Newcastle 1 down and he couldn't have looked less interested if he tried.

                                Of course it wasn't an In-Ger-land game.....:whatever:
