I dont know, as with any great goalscorer he needs a run of games, he simply isnt getting them. Put him in the scum squad and watch him bang in a busload of goals. If I was playing up front for a team and I had Kaka, Pirlo & Seedorf behind me, playing quality incisive passes to run on to and finish then I think I'd do ok don't you?
If on the other hand I played up front - and second fiddle - for a team that goes long to the target man all the time leaving me to fight for the scraps - then I think I might lose confidence due to a lack of opportunities.

bull****...id take him above crouch but not the other two....for a start they offer completely different things.....kuyt and voronin are much cleverer players and complement a striker like shave, not to replace him. Still, he would be good cover for torres but then hed be in the same boat as he is now.
