That Harry and Paul show isn't up to much but those Abramovich impersonations are priceless.

A humble guy with healthy desire.

If I were a Chelsea fan I'd be, although not exactly upset, certainly very annoyed. They've got rid of the best manager in their history (yeah, yeah, such as it is) replacing him with a man who is a totally unknown quantity as a manager over here, a yes-man for his boss and has almost certainly been politicking behind the scenes to get Mourinho's job. Worse they've now got a manager who will allow the chairman his wish to interfere in team matters.

The only plus side is that in the short-term Grant may fail and be replaced by someone of Hiddink's calibre and in the longer-term Abramovich is likely to throw a lot more money at the club before admitting defeat so they might still be able to compete at much the same level.

I'm not a Chelsea fan so can afford a little Schadenfreude, natürlich.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Still hope they nick a scrappy win at the toilet before they fade away though

F*ck, this press conference is a car crash. Kenyon and that American suit are talking complete management b*ll*cks and Grant has nothing to say.

Oh it's OK, there's a bigger tool than any of them there who has just lobbed an easy question at Grant. Step forward Garth "Mangled Sentences" Crookes.
