Re Wright, he was a quality young keeper at a time when fees were crazy, admittedly he turned out ****.

As for all transfers, not sure but think you maybe right, but I know Reyes's deal was similar to Walcotts and Rooneys (ie for every x number of goals/apperances/trophies won then x million gets paid) rather than a guaranteed fee spread over x years.

I would break the bank to bring this lad in.

Doesn't look like he gets in trouble outside of football and for a kid at this young age who believes in early nights- shows how level headed he is. He seems completely focused in the game and is meant to be a generally nice guy according to a lot of the England players.

Manchester City defender Micah Richards has denied he wants a move to Arsenal.

He told City's website: "It's ridiculous. This was in a magazine I spoke to once, a long time ago, it's very old stuff.

"That came from a silly question like; 'I've heard you're an Arsenal fan, would you like to play for them?'

"I've said when I was younger that I'd like to play for Arsenal - one day - and that was it. Now they're making a big thing about it.

"I'm just about to sign a new Manchester City contract and last week I said hopefully I'll be captain one day."
