    Glasgow

Your constant references to people who'd been to Dundee recently

Ronaldhino, Rijkard and obviously Canigia gave the game away.

Yeah it's pretty dark in there. All my other pics of the trophies and stuff came out absolutely ****e.

Did the stadium tour at the Nou Camp the day before we played 'em in the CL in 2002 and met Philipe Christanval and Fabio Rochembach outside, Luis Enrique in the tunnel and Patrick Kluivert near one of the trophy rooms. I only spoke at any length to Kluivert, who was amiable and posed for a pic. Sadly I'd forgotten my camera and had to buy a ****ty disposable one. The light was so poor and whatever flash may be on those things failed to work and when the picture was developed, all I could see were Kluivert's teeth.

When I came back no-one believed me that it was Patrick Kluivert.

I thought it was the part about my Sister-In-Law that gave it away

Makes me think about my first visit to the Maritime Museum, the bit that is made up like a slave ship. As I wandered through I saw this black couple dressed exactly the same and assumed they were from the museum, so I asked her if she could take a picture of me and the guy together.

It was too dark for the camera to work properly and I laughed and started asking about where the Titanic exhibition was......they told me they had no idea as they were just visitors too.

Needless to say I buggered off out of there really quickly, face bright red with embarassment.

John Barnes - Cool guy, I think I've told my shameful story about meeting him
Rob Green - Went to school with two of my housemates and have seen him a few times. Seems ok.
Sep Sole (Woking player) - Again works with a housemate. Ok.

I walked past Ray Stubbs & Mark Lawrenson at Gatwick back in May, Stubbs looked approachable. Lawrenson looked like a right moody git.

I met Bruce Grobbelaar once and asked him for a lighter for my cigarette. He said that he didn't have a lighter but offered to throw me a match

I'm sure I've met one or two more but really can't remember - perhaps I didn't

Frannie Jeffers was the worst, he had about 10 scalls following him round leaching of him, and picking fights "cause they new Frannie Jeffers":whatever:

Can't believe you even mentioned him.

In that case, I've met loads of lower league and very old players over the years.

                    Ernie Moss
Kevin Randall (ex drinking chum of mine)
                    Bob Newton (ditto)
                    Jamie Hewitt
                    Chris Perkins
                    Andy 'Bruno' Morris
                    Steve Norris
                    Eddie Gormley
Jim Brown (friend of the family ...former Scottish international keeper )
                    Andy Kowalski
                    Tony Brien
                    Len Badger
