    Seriously wtf?

This was about Celtic not being able to control their soap dodging fans. Not about Dida's theatrics.
he never gave him a slap though. dida's a tart.

Granted Dida's reaction was totally OTT.

I'd have closed Parkhead for a game and given Dida a two match suspended sentence.
if thats assault then i have a lot of people to press charges against. the person who brushed past me in the pub last night for a get go.

          Well done Uefa!!!!!

For the first time in my memory, they have got it spot on!
Dida banned for 2 ch league games
Celtic fined 25k for supporter infringing on the game.
About time they have acted on a real drama queen, and there are many more out there who will be hopefully taking notice.
Referee Lubos Michel said: “If my assistant referee had not signalled a goal, I would have given a penalty, and sent off goalkeeper Petr Cech.”

                [QUOTE=spud_gun;724775]It's a difficult one. Perhaps a fine.:whatever::whatever::whatever::whatever:

Are you for real? Grow a set of balls mate, if Reina did that, then i'd want the c*nt sold and never darken liverpools door again, nevermind banned for 2 games.
Dida is supposed to be a MAN, what he did was an embarrassment to his family, his team and his country. He left the pitch on a f*cking stretcher FFS....
"perhaps a fine" my arse, kids watch that all over the world, what example is he?
For the first time uefa have done something positive, and ur critising it?????
Also i wouldn't want LFC fined never mind games behind closed doors, cos some **** ran on the pitch, which lets face it we could all do it at anfield or any other ground.
What about the guy that ran on the pitch when we won the cl in 05, had his pic with the team, should we be banned from europe again, or the ataturk be closed down for a few games!!! FFS

                  Nice eloquent post there.

Seriously if say a scum fan ran onto the pitch at OT and appeared in any way to lash out at one of our players this board would be alight with indignation.

The issue here is the fact that a soap dodging Celtic fan was in a position to lash out at an opposing player. Not Didas reaction.

I dont give a f*ck about my post being eloquent, stop dodging the issue by downing on my language.

Dida reaction turned the issue onto himself, any eloquent half wit can see that, or can they?

My issue is that u said that Dida perhaps should have got a fine and Celtic's ground closed.

That makes you a clown in my book mate, maybe u should read my post again, to see my view, and calling him a soap dodger isn't very eloquent !!

Thank god the likes of you has nothing to do with running the game, but you carry on, carry on defending your foolish position on punishment for that fine fine man dida

It was about both actually and if you ask me what Dida did was way worse. **** like that is ruining our game.

                          Dida got what he deserved.

Any player who behaves like that deserves to have the book thrown at him.

His actions were inflammatory, cowardly and completely against the spirit of the game.

If anything I think he's lucky to escape with the two match ban.

Dida's actions have brought shame on him, his team and because it was such a high profile match on the European game.

It's incidents like this that give football a bad reputation amongst other sports.

If Dida wants to continue overreacting like that he should consider a career as a stage actor.
A humble guy with healthy desire.

Someone play acting is worse than some loon invading the pitching a striking a player?

                            I don't get it.

So what did he do? Did he simulate striking Dida?

If he had simulated striking Dida would Celtics punishment been more severe?
