How was the pitch? was it a factor in the end? Did it make a difference to the teams?

He got praise for picking Heskey and Barry so now he needs criticism for picking Lescott (out of his depth) and especially Robinson (who flapped at one shot and got lucky when it hit the post and was at fault for the winner).
What a complete tw*t.

Not that I saw, a few mis-controls here and there but only a desperate England fan would look to blame it for contributing to the result. England simply sat back way too much and were hacking balls out of their box with 6 or 7 white shirts in there on a regular basis.Originally posted by Parm View PostHow was the pitch? was it a factor in the end? Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

I'm not supporting anyone, you childish brute.Originally posted by Assassin View PostIf you want england to win then you are supporting the likes of individuals such as Lampard, Cole, Cole, Terry, Rooney etc.....
The best irony was your use of the word 'we' when referring to england, and then stating how you want them to lose...

I did think it was a bit odd to have such a pitch for an international match but if it made no difference then fair enough. Strange thing is that the CL final will be there this season and there will be a grass pitch installed!!

2-1 to Russia.Originally posted by Red_hot View PostWhat was the score? I can't be ****ed reading the rest of the thread.
England played pretty well, seemed fairly comfortable and defended ok.
Just a poor decision (it was outside the box) and a lack of composure in the midst of a 5 minute Russia surge cost them.
