Ok, so Peter Taylor is the latest person to come out in support of McClown, saying he should stay in the job even if England don't qualify. Add it to the supposed support he has from Barwick plus the England players like Terry, Gerrard et all who reportedly are banding together to lobby the FA to keep him on regardless of teh outcome of Euro2008 qualifying, it is clear this incompetent buffoun has a lot of support in high places.
Now I would have thought it is a no brainer that if England don't qualify he should be sacked. His principle objective when undertaking the job was to get England to the Euros. If he fails is there any justification for him to stay in the job?
