    I think your wrong in that statement, like someone said earlier we used to like to see you lose but we really don't give a **** about England anymore.
    I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

      There'll be a fiesta (and for once not just the car) on the streets of Scotland on Saturday if they win!!! Could be good times.

      I'll for one will be an honorary Scot for the day! Pissed (and hopefully happy)*.

          My papers haven't come though... yet.

          I'll stay Northern Irish if they lose though. I'll also be sure to tell folk stuff like, "it's only a game", "nevermind they came close", "chin up fella, there's always a chance England will qualify"...

            Not really as that statement doesn't make sense

            As for the Scots, I'd love to see them qualify but i feel Italy will at least get a draw at Hampden. this game suits their style bigtime.

            Also, did I hear something about a mini tourney being maybe organised between the 5 home countries if all fail to qualify?

                if we beat italy we go into top 11 sides in the world going by fifa world rankings there by making scotland one of your so calles top sides - would even be ranked higher than england!!! :bird:

                  I'm supporting Scotland tomorrow. I hate the FA and McLaren , my allegiance has stopped for a long time but this was a bull**** appointment to say the least

                    Scotland have done great to take this down to the final game.

                    18 months ago, France and Italy were in the world cup final.

                    I'd like to see them qualify ahead of Italy. I think the Italians are one of the most boring international sides.

                    Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

                        Italy will probably get a lot of help from the ref.

                        Better business for UEFA if Italy qualify.
                        Just believe and you never know what will happen.

                        According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                            I can't wait until the match tomorrow but I have a nasty feeling that we'll manage to lose and **** it up.

                            It's the way we do things but if you'd told us at the start of the tournament that we'd be in with a chance of qualifying going into the last match we'd have taken it.

                                I don't know if we are going to win, my heart so yes but my head says no. We need the crowd right behind us from the start, I would love it if we got through. Should have beaten England in 99 and then we were so close in 04 until the second leg
