What's good for the goose...except when its coming from the English eh? Thanks once again for clearing it up.

We could aways have adopted Englands stance today and booed the team off for their efforts.

Back to the game though, very proud of them tonight and hopefully this means we have an "easier" World cup qualifers.
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing like getting behind your team in their hour of need eh?

And here's me thinking that Liverpool fans were some of the best in the world at it.

Come off it... there's no such thing as easy where we're concerned.

In two years time we'll probably be in a similar position going into the last match.

Yeah we should be seeded higher next time around - what do you think of this home tournament if England don't qualify? A ressurection of the Rous Cup?

Have you also noticed that when the Fifa ranking are announced and England are higher than Argentina, Brazil, Italy, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain or any other big country they are better than them. When Scotland looked like we might break into the top ten and go above England it meant **** all.

Or in David Bentley's case get booed on. Or we could boo any player who might be underperforming or worse still isn't fashionable enough....Yeah that helps, doesn't it?

Oh and you haven't got a clue about how I feel about the other home nations.
Show me where I've laughed at or criticised Scotland for this or any other result?

I haven't. Yeah there are some people who are on the wind-up, but all I've done is point out to the people banging on about ref's decisions that it works both ways!

****ing hell, England moaned after Portugal games (twice) and after an Argentina game about so called dodgy decisions. I didn't and wouldn't expect any other fan of any nation not to question our bias.

Put me on ignore, its not my loss.

I would love it, I am to young to remember the home internationals.

For what it's worth I thought we were very lucky to be going into the last 10 minutes on level terms.

Yes their goal should have stood and yes ours was offside - but you take the breaks in this game just as Italy did with that freekick.

Overall a draw probably would have been fair but that's life.
