At some level we all choose what we identify with.

IIRC there is an Icelandic bloke here who chooses to support Argentina to the point where recently he said he would support Argentina over the country of his birth.
      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Couldn't break into the first team and saw no future for himself so I think he asked to be released. IIRC he wasn't that young (19) when he was shipped out. Shame, he never got his chance.

Why would I be BNP for calling him a race traitor? He's Welsh and turned his back on Wales to play for a team that had a better chance of winning medals (although not that much of a better chance looking at how England are struggling right now). That has such a familiar sound when Owen is mentioned doesn't it leaving one team to play for another to fill his trophy cabinet

England are a race of people as are the Welsh, Irish, Scottish etc. So by calling him a race traitor it wasn't meant in a BNP kind of way but more a general way. I hate the little ****, always have and always will.
