OK, fair enough. I wouldn't swap him for either of Kuyt or Voronin but I wouldn't object to having him as an option.

Then again, I'd sign almost everyone, just to make sure.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

A loan move in January would be most sensible plus he's not cup tied.

He's worth another go in a good team with good player around him. He's clearly lost his way since he moved from us and if the story is true of City bidding for him then its a sad demise for him

You can't rotate him if he's injured
        Oh I don't know.

We bring him in as one of 4 strikers and IF he's injured, we can rotate the other 3, not to mention the likes of Babel who can fill in. Point being, anyone who wouldn't take Owen is a clown

Id take owen ahead of the crow but no way would i lose Kuyt for him, Kuyt is vastly under rated, the work he puts in ensures others get chances etc etc

Still, £5mill or less and id take a punt at him

From Wiki, so who knows the accuracy, but it doesn't make good reading.

2005/2006 11 appearances in all comps
2006/2007 3 appearances in all comps
2007/2008 8 appearances in all comps

I wouldn't take him. And I especially wouldn't take him and rotate the others around him being injured or not.
Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.

You mean When Owen is injured.

Too high risk, and a waste of money.
                Oh I don't know.

Hold on hold on, it's not as if he's been as bad as this his whole career. For us and for Madrid, he wasn't crocked that much at all and we all know about his goalscoring record when fit.

Problem, I think, with MO is that having watched that documentary on the telly a while back it seems pretty obvious that fotball isn't his no1 priority these days. Horse racing is. He admitted he's invested something approaching 6m on building and developing his own stables. He'll argue different but I think that's part of the reason, along with his injury record, why the big teams won't touch him.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

He spent loads of time injured when he was with us. It was his hamstrings causing most of the problems. Then it would take him about 8 games to get back into the groove.

If it wasn't for his injury record, I'd take him back in an instant. But then he would cost over £20 million in todays market.
