    Man City vs Blackburn

Watching the game now with great interest. If Blackburn happen to nick even just a tie out of this match then City will have a chink in their confidence at home. The only 100% record at home in the league is something I'm sure they want to hold on to, and our job will be just a little easier on the 30th if Blackburn can get one.

Wow. Bianchi missed a sitter almost as bad as Bellamy did 3 yards out. Only he didn't even hit the post!!!!

I tell ya what, that Petrov fellah looks like one we will have to watch, looks a decent left sided player. He is easily the biggest threat on the field.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Yeah he's been a force and is dictating the pace for sure. Would be nice to have our defence healthy for this match.

Khizanishvili is ****ting himself every time he gets the ball.

                      agree with both of you
maybe he is worth looking at as an alternative for our own ranks. I wander what Rafa is thinking of him, no doubt he is watching. probably at the game.

I hope Arbeloa will be back from his flu. Finnan isn't that quick anymore.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I remember seeing Petrov do this to Barcelona a season or two ago. Just ripped into them with his pace.

Took him off at half time.
