A draw will do us nicely.

Linesman had balls, first put his flag up then changed his mind as he rightly realised Santa Cruz was not offside.
        We come not to play.

He was offside though. Made a genuine attempt at the ball, and was in an offside position. Bad call by the linesman, but good for us.

David Dunn did kind of go for the ball but did he influence play leading to the Santa Cruz headed goal? i don't think he did.

But a nice draw is a good result for us, the way man City are playing Crouch may be a good option for the game.

Isn't he banned for the City game mate?

Decent result, the top four are now lodged in their rightful positions and will probably stay there all season.

what on earth has happened to mc carthy?
he looks unfit and disinterested and hasnt been playing too often lately
is he coming back from an injury?

I hope you aren't inferring that they will stay in their current "rightful positions".

I know yeah, and I backed him at good odds to be top scorer.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                            * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs
