I think Middlesborough have some decent players and if they ever get Mido fit they will stay up IMO. Sunderland however are terrible and despite looking better since Jewell took over I think Derby are too far adrift. Which leaves Jan looking very interesting with who Wigan, Fulham and Birmingham manage to sign probably being the key to who else goes down.

Be interesting to see if Fulham find any money after Sanchez spree.

Did he ever get fit though - No. Still think they were basically a goal scorer or target man away from a decent enough side to stay up. Look at the players who got Fulham out of the hole that season.

Excellent appointment by Fulham that. Not only will he keep them up, they will end up in a European final in a couple of years, mark my words. Actually I could easily imagine him managing Liverpool in a few years.

they were fighting the same position at boro, quite amazing really how they had the two at the same time infact one of my boro supporting mates was hoping Downing left so Johnson would get more playing time this was even when Johnson wasnt that well known

He had one decent season at Blackburn followed by a really crap one which led to his sacking. Had he stayed at Fulham i would have bet he had a **** season there.

Exactly, so much stall in one bloody season, one bad season and they sack Rafa, one good season and they hire Hodgson, what a complete and utter joke this club now is.
