There was a Newcastle fan on talksport the other day saying how Allardyce was a "reet bad manager" and "hopefully we'll get him oot with the booin and that, like what we done before with all't others". The presenter asked him if he'd ever thought that the fact they keep doing that might just be the problem, and the reply was just "hoo can it be us? We're the ones what pay the money like."

****ing deluded Geordie ****s thinking they are anything other than a mid-table premiership club

This decision smacks of sheer desperation.

The funny thing is the fans wanted him out because they thought he would not take Newcastle back to the big time aside from a couple of heady seasons under Keegan when have they ever been anywhere near the top of English football? Silly self deluding unintelligible Geordie ****s.

I hope they appoint Shearer. Then i'll really laugh my bollocks off.

******s. The whole ****ing lot of them.

I don't like Fat Sam and I don't like Newcastle.

I'm not sorry to see him get the sack but its madness really. He should have been given at least 3 years to see exactly what (if any) progress has been made.

They won't go down this season, there is far too much **** in this division but they might struggle next season if they let their heart rule their head by employing Shearer as next manager. The job is far too big for him.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

Dumb barcodes are totally ****in clueless - if they let him run the club in the mould of a mid-table workhorse like Bolton he could have done a job. Deluded ****ers want more though...

its a mad decison after getting a "vote of confidence" as well only last week.

does Shearer have all the correct coaching badges.

no wonder england have to appoint a foregin manager, because half the managers in the premiership dont have the UEFA A badge for coaching.

Said on the radio he has got the badges but not the Pro Licence thing.

I'm pretty sure he has at least the UEFA B badge. I think he has had it for a couple of years so it is more than possible he has got the A one by now.

Actually Sam was a good manager. He did a superb job at Bolton on very limited resources.

As for Newcastle...sacking him afetr 24 games is a joke. The entire club is Real Madrid without the glamour, money, or history.

An inflated sense of importance inside a club with the pedigree of Middlesborough
