There was a Newcastle fan on talksport the other day saying how Allardyce was a "reet bad manager" and "hopefully we'll get him oot with the booin and that, like what we done before with all't others". The presenter asked him if he'd ever thought that the fact they keep doing that might just be the problem, and the reply was just "hoo can it be us? We're the ones what pay the money like."

I'm not sorry to see him get the sack but its madness really. He should have been given at least 3 years to see exactly what (if any) progress has been made.

They won't go down this season, there is far too much **** in this division but they might struggle next season if they let their heart rule their head by employing Shearer as next manager. The job is far too big for him.

Actually Sam was a good manager. He did a superb job at Bolton on very limited resources.


As for Newcastle...sacking him afetr 24 games is a joke. The entire club is Real Madrid without the glamour, money, or history.
