Just watching You're on Sky Sports and they've just mentioned that Keegan and Owen don't get on because of something Owen has previously said
I don't remember this? Must be something to do with his England days. Anyone remember?
Owen was absolutely scathing in his autobiography about his time in charge of England, and accused Keegan of trying to turn him into the player KK was rather than letting him be 'himself'.
Or something like that.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I seeeee
I honestly thought that Keegan taking over would mean that Owen's future at Newcastle is very secure. Perhaps not
He’s damaged goods. He admitted himself he’s short of what’s required at the top level – what the **** are Ashley and Mort thinking?? He went stale at City and they didn’t play the swashbuckling football the deluded Geordies are after. City were largely turgid under Keegan.
He got them promoted and they scored 108 goals and got 99 points in the process. Most City fans adore him. He tailed off there at the end and as a result left. I think son, you're talking ****.

No I'm not - I'm talking in the Premiership, not Leagues 1 or 2. His performances in Leagues 1 and 2 have absolutely no relevance.
In the Premiership, after a good start, they played boring football to dwindling crowds, with the likes of has-beens such as Seaman, McManaman, Fowler, Trevor Sinclair and Sun Jihai bumbling around the park chasing shadows. They lost to Oldham in the FA Cup, Groclin in the UEFA Cup and had City fans all over Manchester in a deep depression.
I'm not quite in belief with this situation. New to this maybe, but I can see this is old broken man brought into club for no good reason. I see fat men on news with half clothes missing, dancing a happy dance. Why no one tell them, their new man win nothing in tiptop level footer?
Making no sense to me. Sense to any of you yes no?

"When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey
They have the attacking players to make things exciting for the fans though

As my writings have saying already, this man is broken. Here is the moment he was broked. Look at him. Forgetting he is having silly head telephones attached to head. Almost cry cry.

'I used to go into games believing the opposition was scared of me. That belief evaporated when I played under Keegan'
"For me, the warning signs were all there on the training pitch.
"I assume the manager had conveyed to his staff what he thought of me, and plainly it wasn't complimentary.
"I felt I was being singled out, not just by the manager but the whole coaching staff."
A 3-2 defeat to Romania put England out of Euro 2000. Owen missed the ball completely after 15 seconds. He wrote: "A terrible thought filled my head: 'That's exactly what he wants me to do, because it confirms what he's been saying all week'.
"Guess what? When I caught sight of the manager he was throwing up his arms, shaking his head and gesticulating at the coaches as if to say: 'Did you see that?'.
"That, I can assure you, is one of the worst feelings in the world.
"That feeling, that belief, evaporated at times when I played under Keegan. "I don't think Keegan had any sort of personal agenda against me, I just think that as England manager at a major tournament he felt under enormous pressure and he needed something or someone to blame.
"I was an easy target. I wasn't on top of my game."

An entertaining end to Owens life in the top flight.
"I have no idols. I admire work, dedication and competence."
