Aussie A-League

Since it's only be running for three years the A-League is doing remarkably well.

The Crowds are decent, and teams like Newcastle, Melbourne, Queensland and sometimes Adelaide play some really exciting, entertaining football.

As HarveyB mentioned there's a fair bit of young talent around, James Holland and Stuey Musialik are another two he didn't mention.

Whoever mentioned Nicky Carle, well Carle is ****ing awesome. Absolutely shredded opposition defences to bits.

Won't be long till he's playing in the premier league.

Not quite.

He was unable to play in the finals because of his loan agreement, so Kossie (John Kosmina, Sydney Coach) decided not to use him for the last few games seeing as he wasn't going to be there for the integral part of the season.

I think pitches tend to be very dry in Australia, which is not helping a flowing type of football, unless the pitch is heavily watered.

they are fine mate, the pitches here look great.

He certainly looks good.

City are doing really well, infact a lot better than most expected Gary Johnson seems to be doing a cracking job at the moment. And what makes it better is that the GAS are still struggling. I think Carle is in line to play his first game against CPalace this weekend.

Think it's a shame that some of the league's better players leave so soon after making an impression.

For example, Carney is doing well at Sheff Utd but players like him raise the standard of the A-League and make it more appealing.

League runs from August to July as far as I can tell.

Its a bit harder to bet on this season IMO. Last year the big two were Sydney and Melbourne and Adelaide had a good cup run.

Whipping boys were Perth and Wellington are a new team this season so I usually bet against them.

Queensland and the Mariners have really upped their game this year.

The League runs from the end of August, till about the end of February.

And yes, Nicky Rizzo does play for Perth, got sent off last night as well.
