Cameroon 2 - 1 Tunisia. What a superb game so far. Another 2 brilliant free kicks. I can't remember a tournament with so many quality goals. Best African Nations ever.
Ghana will play against Cameroon in the first semi-final who will have over a day less rest. Ghana played in the first quarter and Cameroon in the last.
Really a big joke and I can understand why the managers moan about it when even the host and the African football federation are not taking it seriously.
The refs are even worse than the english ones and that says a lot.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

So other than the fact it has been a fantastic tournament to watch and loads of people have enjoyed watching it and a huge number of people in African countries really care about it whats the point, eh?
Just because something isn't arranged in the way we would or even in the case of the semi finals it is genuinely badly managed it doesn't mean people aren't taking it seriously.
The managers who complain are plain hypocrites. They buy African players knowing full well their international commitments and often scout then at the ACN and then when they go off whinge like it was all a conspiracy to rob them of their players.

I didn't say anything about the audience. I said that the hosts are not even trying to make it as fair as they can to everyone. Every country that have been up against Ghana have had problems to travel to the place of the game, problems with the hotel, luggage that goes missing and so on and nothing is done to make it better.
The pitches are very bad. The refs are a complete joke.
I don't think the managers would moan if the cup was organized in a good way and played on good pitches. Now the players risks bad injuries because of the bad pitches. Two things that is very easy to correct if you bother to do it but they don't.
People are taking it seriously but the hosts and the African football federation don't.

You don't have to say anything about specific aspects if you say the whole thing is a joke. It implies you see no good points.
I just don't buy that it would be easy for Ghana to make new pitches - certainly not without vast investment - which the richer nations say in Eurpoe aren't about to give them funding for. How many bad injuries have there been - I have seen no more than at the average world cup or european championships.
I think you are wrong about the federation and the hosts. I see absolutely nothing in what the hosts have done that seems like a lack of seriousness. The schedule which I assume is laid down by the federation is as I said earlier an arse but there is a difference between ****ing up and not caring.
