Let me explain, if he played for England, every two years, he would have had to play in a tournament and possibly would have been knackered at the start of each season and possibly could have got injured in the process as well.

      Yeah that makes sense

Now, you are telling me that playing for your country during a gruelling summer can't affect your performance during a season?

            Yeah it does.

It stands to reason that the more international games you play the more it takes a toil on your body hence why players retire from International football to prolong their club career.

Fredo's reaction was a little bizarre.

But it would definitely have a negative impact on the length of your career in top flight club football.

Of course its not the only contributing factor. Another factor would be how a player takes care of himself and Giggs is a prime example of a professional who takes good care of himself. All of this contributes to Giggs having a top flight career which has spanned an incredible 17 years.

I don't disagree with that. I disagree with him saying that Giggs would definitely be a spent force at the age of 34 if he played for England rather than Wales.

I'm not saying he would have been a spent force. I'm saying the reason he has lasted so long is because of the lack of internationals and playing for your country at the highest levels. He has never played in a World Cup or the Euros. He has had his summers free. He can rest up and is fresh come pre season unlike his team mates.

                    He's a whingeing cuntbag. Can't stand him.
I've never forgiven him for that penalty he swindled for them at Old Trafford the day Robbie Fowler overshadowed Cuntona on his "comeback game" :whatever:

Quite right. He has this annoying voice and I can't believe the amount of respect he gets from Liverpool fans.

But that would almost suggest that those who have represented their countries at the highest level should be spent forces by the time they reach the age Giggs is at now. It's harder to think of them than you would think but off the top of my head this would apply to Maldini, Sheringham, Toldo, Beckham etc. I'm sure that people could think of more.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

                          Beckham? Toldo? Sheringham?

These players aren't currently playing at the highest level. Toldo sits on the bench and is a goalkeeper, Beckham is either injured or hanging around with Tom Cruise, Sheringham hasn't played a season of 30 games for a long time so those examples are null and void.

Giggs played for Wales. At times, Fergie withdrew him from the squad. Giggs is 34. I'll give him until 36 and he will retire and replaced by Nani.

Does that mean you are giving me Maldini?

Maldini- I will give you him. He seems super human its unbelievable. The guy retired when he was 34 for Italy and since played more than 20 games a season however this season he has only played like 9 games or so due to injury.

What I am trying to say is that it only takes one bad injury for someone around 34 to retire. Giggs hasn't been demanded to play as many games as say Beckham during the course of a season hence Beckham's bad injuries over the past couple of years.

He is Man Utd through and through and therefore a cunt. What's to discuss?
