I wouldn't know why his knees are in a bad state. I imagine there might be some heritable condition, exacerbated by a couple of decades of sustained physical exercise.Originally posted by Ben Tover View PostSo he has taken some real bad abuse on his knees then?.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Me too. Then I might have a clue what I'm saying.Originally posted by Ben Tover View PostIf only I did Biology as an A Level.

He's got dodgy knees and there was probably always a weakness there that's got worse because he's been a footballer all his life.

Spurs skipper King rubbishes career threat claims
tribalfooball.com - February 23, 2008
Tottenham captain Ledley King has hit out at reports that he may never play again.
King has played just six times this season but boss Juande Ramos is ready to play his most influential defender in Sunday's final. King said: "There were rumours flying around but I knew they weren't true.
"Sure, my comeback took a bit longer than I would have liked but there were never any doubts in my mind that I was going to play again. There were some tough days. But I always believed I was going to come though."Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
