    Wijnhard!?
    Ahaah, Clyde Wijnhard!

I remember in one season-previewing pull-out, Bobby Robson tipped him as Premiership top goalscorer.

Leeds bought an even worse striker in Frank Strandli.

Howard Wilkinson called him the next David Hirst.

I always thought Stuart Ripley was an awful player, and David Warhurst (£3m!?!) was a total one season wonder and then reverted back to type as a defender!

            PAUL Warhurst!

He had one absolutely sensational season up front for Wednesday when Hirst & Bright picked up long-term injuries. He looked the real deal and I think even got called up to an England squad as a striker.

I met him once and got a signed photo. Think he’s still playing actually.

Some great names being mentioned here, brings back memories of watching some ****e players down the years, from the Sunday ITV "The Match" right up to the present day sky/Setanta games.

I have to mention a few already mentioned though - Cedric Rousell - he had the mother of all crater faces

And Ian Olney. In fact, if you crossed Ian Olney with Ian Ormonroyd, you'd probably get Peter Crouch.

Oh, and Ian Marshall - what a mullet.
