That about sums it up on here. I stick up for david moyes and everton and somehow it's turned into something about me.

I can't say I dislike the team, nor can I say that I think they are a bad team. They have great organisation, very good mentality and have finally begun to install some creativity in the midfield. But ****ed if I'm going to want them to succeed when all I hear about is how "Moyes is the best manager in the country", or "Tim Howard is 10x better than Reina", and a plethora of other idiotic statements which are often a lot worse and far more vitriolic than the examples I have just given.

I'm personally pleased that they have been put in their place in Europe and hopefully I won't have to endure any more comments about Everton having the best record on the continent. That, in my opinion, doesn't make me "bitter".
There's nothing wrong with a bit of friendly banter. My best mate is a big manc supporter and we always have a laugh at one anothers expense. What's gets to me is people on here always talking about how they go on and on and on about us, when that's exactly what we are doing. Stinks of hypocrisy. That's what annoys me.

Also, some are not just having a bit of banter. They are seriously overboard on it all and absolutely cream their load when everton lose and could bever give them a bit of praise when they deserve it. Those people will be uncovered by their over reactive and overly defensive response to this post

My Bitter mates are ****ing hilariously deluded. One complete tool who I happen to know reckons he wouldn't swap Yakubu for Torres.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Friendly banter is fine, it's displaced smugness and over-confidence that is so grating. I suppose you could only really grasp the true extent of it by being around bluenoses all the time, but they really have an absolutely intense hatred for Liverpool (in the most part, at least. My best friend is a bluenose and me and him can talk objectively about our respective teams, but that is rare between a red and a blue). Things like turning up at half-time in the pub if they are winning, coming out of the woodwork to watch Liverpool when we are playing a challenging side hoping for us to get beaten, and this season taking a great delight from our off-field woes and Premiership form.

It's not the team that I actually dislike, just a large percentage of the support-base, and it's nice that some of the ****-eating grins I have had to endure looking at have been wiped from a few faces.

Absolute case-in-point, I've heard that myself. Andy Johnson being a better player than Michael Owen was another last season. They just build themselves up to get knocked down, like when the only thing I heard for months was "We're all going on a European tour" after they finished fourth, trying to rub every red's nose in it, only for them to get knocked out in the qualifiers and then get beaten 5-0 in the first round of the UEFA whilst we won the European Cup in the most fantastic style imaginable.
