That was a great game
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Le Tiss was good for Southampton, he never had the balls to move to a bigger team as he probably knew he would have then just been another fish in the bowl as opposed to being the biggest fish.

he had the skil to be a top player at a top club, More skill than Cantona etc. Maybe he didn't want to , maybe he loved southampton so much, maybe he didn't have the bottle. Whatever, he was a fantasic player who shouldn't be criticised for not following the usual route to the biggest clubs.
And I still have an ecru shirt in the cupboard. In size S unfortunately.

He had the talent to play at any of the big clubs mate. He was brilliant! His only fault was that he didn't have much pace, but **** it, he had the lot technically speaking.
he never comes across as the big i am does he so not sure that he wanted to be a big fish. i imagine he liked being the Saviour to a certain extent but that has its own pressure. look at Torres at Athetico.
Also he was happy and earned more than enough money why would he want to move. maybe he wasnt a hugely ambitious lad just very very talented.
