    Wenger should have offered Flamini this extention last season. Surely, he must have seen some improvement throughout pre-season and made strides to giving him a contract. Its Wengers fault in truth.

          The Guardian podcast specifically said that it was not £20k a week. Obviously that doesn't mean it is true but there was a claim that it was from a previously reliable source and as such a controversial claim it would be odd if they said it without believing it.
