Yep, this is my fear.

If that set of players weren't called Italy and didn't wear that kit, you'd fancy Spain to batter them - but because you know it's Italy there's always that nagging fear.

Plus of course Spain's tendency to choke.

Russia fully deserved to win the game, though I'm disappointed the Dutch didn't go through because they're the only team capable of stopping Italy.

Someone's posted on here that Russia won because of their fitness. I disagree.

Russia won because they played good football. They passed the ball very well, were competitive, much quicker to the tackle than Holland were and played as a team.

The desire was there from Russia, this wasn't evident from Holland bar Wesley Sneijder who was exceptional tonight.

Gattuso's **** anyway, he's a ****house that does nothing bar stir the crowd. Can't believe Stevie bottled it in the second match after slating him in his autobiography. I'd have gone out there and snapped the cunt.

Italy can't keep sneaking it the way they do, yes they have some talented players but they also have some old farts playing for them.
