I despise the cunt but if Ronaldo goes to Real, i'll get a madrid jersey with Ronaldo's name and number on the back. Just to piss off my 30/40 manc mates.

I'd disagree with that entirely. If he leaves teh mancs will be back to struggling to kill of games.Originally posted by SimonPilot View PostWhy would he leave the biggest club in the world? It shows his greed if he goes. Bad for the league imo.
All the usual suspects for title challenger will have their weakness.
Us = still building
Chelsea = unstable
Arsenal = do not hav ethe legs for the fukll season
Scum = unable to finish of games.
Deopending on transfers it could make for an extremely interesting season with a true 4 or more way race.
Would be great for the league.

Good old Guillem Balague done a piece in the Spanish press today basically saying the Mancs did the exact same thing with Hargreaves, Bayern said he was not for sale, Fergie kept talking to him, and Hargreaves demanded a move and acted like a complete cunt. Bayern threatened to report them to FIFA etc.
Fergie is a ****

Cristiano Ronaldo has refused to sanction a visit from Sir Alex Ferguson to Portugal's Euro 2008 training base in Switzerland.

Ferguson was willing to cut short a holiday in France to attempt to convince his player to stay at Old Trafford and even had the blessing of his counterpart with Portugal should the winger agree.

Brave face: Ronaldo's club future remains uncertain
But Ronaldo reportedly told his teammates that Ferguson is not welcome, a move that will doubtless place further strain on their relationship. As such Ferguson is now unlikely to make the trip to Switzerland, leaving the Manchester United manager able to avoid appearing to show concern at Real's overtures to his player.
Although many international managers would look down on the idea of a club manager interfering with their preparations for a major tournament, Luiz Felipe Scolari was apparently willing to let Ferguson speak to the Portugal winger if the player wished.
Portugal will open Euro 2008 against Turkey in Geneva on Saturday, and according to the Daily Express, a source within the Portugal camp said: "Scolari is a sensitive man. He wants Ronaldo's mind to be settled so he can play his best football for Portugal. Normally he would not allow a club manager into the camp. But he cares about his players.
"If Ronaldo wants to see Ferguson he will let him, just to put an end to this."

Yesterday, Ronaldo was reported to have said that he wanted to join Real Madrid. Brazilian newspaper Terra reported Ronaldo as saying: "I would like to play for Real Madrid, but only if it is true they are ready to pay what Manchester United ask of them. However, it does not depend on me."
United are adamant they will not let the 23-year-old Ronaldo go this summer and will hold him to his £120,000-a-week contract, which still has four years remaining.
Ferguson and Manchester United chief executive David Gill insist that, with the backing of the club's owners, the Glazer family, Ronaldo, who scored a stagering 42 goals last season, will remain a United player.
Portuguese officials tried to distance Ronaldo from the comments, insisting that he had not given any interviews, but the quotes have raised the stakes in the bitter battle between United and Real for the player.
# Portuguese feel at home in Geneva
# Premier League Transfer Talk
Ronaldo said before the Champions League final last month that he had ambitions to play in Spain, prompting Ferguson to say United had to win more major trophies to keep the player at Old Trafford. Last night United confirmed the club's position.
"There is no change," they said. "It is just the same as yesterday, the day before and the day before that. Cristiano Ronaldo is not for sale."
Manchester United's statement that they would rather let Ronaldo spend a year on the sidelines than sell him appears to be part of the reason for Ronaldo's hard-line stance in refusing to sanction Ferguson's visit. Although his refusal to see Ferguson has put an end to the possibility of the Manchester United manager flying to Switzerland, Ronaldo's club future remains far from settled.

Tevez32- Stays or goes he is a cunt for making mockery out United by continually wanting to lick calderon's balls at Madrid. He must be out of his ****ing mind. If he turns his back on United, he will never be sorry. He will only go to Madrid if he is to destroy his career. Barcelona would be better as they are similar to Man United but any other is his downfall. THanks for this season but if he wants to **** off to Madrid, we won't be sorry.
Hopefully Fergie shows him the door before he can claim he went on his own terms. I am absolutely furious at this ****.
I would love it if we replaced this arrogant self proclaimed another special one portuguese disloyal backstabbing player with Ronaldinho.
A lot has been made of Ronaldinho but he reached a level 2 years ago not many have reached in the last 20 years.
noodlehair- Because I find the idea of running off to the other side of the world, and then mouthing off about how you want to join another club, instead of growing a pair and straightening it out with your boss, somewhat pathetic.
At some point he's going to be asked about those quotes. If he denies they're true then fair enough, I'll always trust a first person view over any media source. If it turns out they are true then he's an utter gimp. It's not like it'd be the first time he's done it either.
I want him to stay obviously, I'd forgive him any gimptardery if he did. He really doesn't do himself any favours though. If he played for any other club I'd despise him probably. He reminds me of Reyes

neno- maybe ronaldo doesnt cause any trouble in the dressing room constantly but i bet he is a narcisistic self serving cnut, just look at what he did to rooney in the wc, or how full of himself he obviously is. or how he behaves on the pitch when things dont go his way.
What do expect him to come out in public and say "rooney stop shagging old women" "rio stop sniffing magic powder, u dont need it"
Feed me- Ronaldo is such an arrogant little **** that his silence has single handedly overshadowed a double triumph and his own country's Euro 2008 preparations. I have no respect left for the boy.
Chris- Personally I'm not outraged at Ronaldo's (in)actions, but I am disappointed. But my point was that if being upset or thinking he wants out is a case of the weaker-minded among us jumping to conclusions, then that puts SAF and CQ squarely in the muppet camp.
RedKaos-
Im not sure I actually want him to stay anymore, regardless of what he says.
The guy has made a mockery of our club, of Sir Alex, and of our fans. He clearly still thinks he's bigger than the club and his attitude clearly hasn't changed since his plea to move to madrid a few years back.
One minute he claims he wants to stay here for many years, the next he admits a madrid move is tempting. After our CL triumph he makes it clear he wants to stay, now he's thinking....hang on Madrid...I quite fancy that. On top of that, if he supposedely treated Sir Alex, a man that has brought where he is today, by banning him from the Portugese training camp, is disrespect of the highest grade.
That my friend, is making a mockery of our club.
topper-
I'll go with this - never thought that the euphoria from just a few weeks ago would evaporate so quickly and brought on by a United player at that. Crap journalists or not all Ronaldo had to say was simply - I am staying at United and honouring my agreement

normally i dont wish ill on any player, but here is a little hypothetical. cronaldo hands in his transfer request, fergie gets suitably pissed, then in his first game for portugal does his acl or something. manure lose cronaldo and dont get any cash and his transfer value plummits. my wishful thinking for the day is done.
