That's a fair list. Dunne is over-rated. Shone in a few games when City were playing a 6-4-0 formation. On a par with Dawson.

Richards? Well Dunne has been player of the season last 3 or 4 seasons at city so obv their own fans don't agree with that one! King? Pah! campbell is past it. woodgate?!! Strange list, he still makes it into the top 10 for me and I bet most managers agree

You can't seriously want Dunne over Skrtle? Skrtle has been awesome and played out of his skin in the champions league. He put in **** hot performances at the very very top level against Inter Milan, Arsenal and Chelsea. He was also pivotal in our good run late on in the season. Dunne is not better than him by any means

To truly compete we need 2 complete teams who we can rely upon.

Sure, there may be higher priority for other positions, but in 2 or 3 seasons time when our team is sorted and we're still not quite making it due to lack of depth because Hyppia is too old and another is injured and we actually need to fill the position we could end up paying silly money.

So if an opportunity like this comes along I say snatch it up.

Dunne is a cracking player and is just as good as some on V's list. The fact that he has played for a mediocre Man City side for so long disguises his strength as a defender and leader.

I guarantee that if he moves to a better club he will win rave reviews next season.

He's being strongly linked with Pompey this morning.
