Ronald Koeman. Won the cup with Valencia after only being in charge for a few months.

First and foremost Rafa aint goin nowhere

If he were to leave for me it would be:

        Hiddink
        Capello
        Pellegrini (Villareal bloke)
        We come not to play.

Paul Le Guen?? The guy who was a walking disaster at Rangers. The guy who was laughed at by the whole of scotland and who spent a whole season calling his club Ronjors

He might have had a couple of good seasons at Lyon but you have to bare in mind that they had basically no compitition in that league.

He was a laughing stock at Rangers and i think he would be even more disastrous with us

Don't know about his merrits in scotland, as I coulden't care less than scottish football TBH... but seem to remember his failure had more to do with a fall out with ferguson and some backroom staff than anything!

But you forget that he was the manager that created the Lyon team and won three consec. titles and they played some of the best football in the CL those years! He also saved a collapsing PSG from relegation this season, and managed to win one cup this season and getting to the final in the second. Fairly well for a team on a downwards spiral I would say...

I think he has done quite well as manager...

To be honest that PSG was more under-achieving rather than on a downward spiral.

Even if you don't follow scottish football you cannot dismiss his failings. It was alot more than just a bust up with Barry Ferguson. He brought in mediorcre players and played them ahead of decent scottish talent and they failed miserably and yet he refused to change his ways.

If i remember correctly he also made Gavin Rae captain and stuck with a useless french goalkeeper even when he was injured and dropping clangers, despite everyone begging him to play McGregor in goals. McGregor finally got his chance when the other keeper was injured and played out of his skin. And yet stubborn Le Guens brought back the other keeper for more calamity

The guy is nowhere near the standard required to replace Rafa if ever needed

              But thats my opinion

You clearly know more about scottish football than I, so I will not even try countering that argument. However I must disagree with the PSG part, I have lived in Paris for a bit now (looking forward to getting away soon though!) and they have been on a downward spiral. From being championship contenders throughout the 90's they have this century fought for mid-table places. With the team at hand (and I have seen them live a couple of times), I would say it is quite an achievement keeping them up...

But he might not be suited for british football, it is quite different all in all.

                      I would go for:
                      Pelligrini
                      Hiddink
                      Deschamps
Just look at the face: it's vacant, with a hint of sadness. Like a drunk who's lost a bet.
