This is no big deal. He got sent off once for us and that is a good record going for a player like him. I dont care what he does at International level personally.

The way people are talking, you would swear he is like Vinnie Jones.
He has the potential to become a Keane or Vieira, but I cant see it happening under Rafa. We are too disciplined.
Oh the man is a midfield maestro
and his passes are sooo delightful
    everyone wants to know

The point I was gonna make after reading about Masher is this......if he was guilty, fine, no problem, but if the same rules were applied to Rooney he'd be sent off most weeks.

      "**** OFF....****IN PRICK"

You can see him saying that to referees with every decision that goes against him.

But Rooney...no, you don't send him off. He's the nation's darling, he plays for those darlings Manchester United, who are managed by that man that everyone's scared of.

      Abso-****ing-lutely.

Why are referees scared of Fergiescum? What the **** can he do? Berate you in the media? So what? That would give me more encourage to **** him off the ****ing cheating pensioner.

Rooney hasn't changed...it's just that the Ref's let him say what he wants!!!!

Hargreaves has caught the bug as well...was constantly mouthing off in every game towards the end of the season

Hargreaves was worse than anyone towards the end of the season. I lost count of how many times he had a go at the ref during the Boro game.

The Champions League final was even worse. Didn't think he was a 'nasty' player by any means but he comes across as an aggressive little **** when a decision goes against him.

Not to compare apples (Mascherano) to douchebags (Rooney); Mascher's tackle was terrible and the ref had already sent-off Mastroeni for the USA on a MISTAKE-- this was a make-up red if anything. The cameras cut away to replay the tackle and I missed his dissent, but like I said, CONCACAF refs are the worst-- they are terrible match managers and make awful mistakes like the red on Mastroeni all the time. So, I think Mascher's red is a mix of a make up, the fact that the tackle was so bad, and whatever he said afterward (didn't see).

Mascher's red for dissent in the league was all about timing and the refs taking a stand against Ashley Cole's shameful display-- that said, it was ****ing stupid and typical of the way in which the FA is spineless and a terrible, inconsistent manager of the game. To then watch Chelsea and Man U continue these displays for the rest of the season? Ridiculous.
