Ronaldo will be at Utd next season

    According to red nose:

    Ferguson says Ronaldo is staying
Sir Alex Ferguson says winger Cristiano Ronaldo will stay at Manchester United next season.

Ferguson confirmed he met Ronaldo, 23, in Lisbon last week after much speculation about the player's future.

"The meeting went well - I think we both put across our points of view - where we stand and where the player stands," explained Ferguson.

"I can say he'll be a Manchester United player next season. That's our stance - he won't be sold."

United will hope that Ferguson's comments at a press conference in South Africa will put an end to rumours linking Ronaldo with a transfer to Real Madrid.

Can't see him staying at Utd and not unsettling things. He's made it clear he wants out. The fans have turned on him and, as fickle as they are, it would be a rocky ride.

That doesn't make it sound like it's something Ronaldo is particularly happy about, or has settled for......

ah he'll be gone by the end of the summer, this always seems to be the way with Real#'s transfers.

because they will go and sign 2/3 world class players to replace him.

              Berbatov is hardly world class.

He is being forced to play for them. Good enough for me

Iv enjoyed the Mancs misery over the whole affair. The fans hate him now and he doesn't want to play for them. Plus he is going to miss the first 6 weeks of the season. Im happy with that

who may or may not score as many as ronaldo got last season.

I dont see how any player in the world can replace that cnut , they have as much money as they want anyway!!

That's a matter of opinion. I would say Berbatov is a world class player surrounded by non-world class players at Tottenham.

Most of the fans up here want the greasy ****wit lynched. If he stays it will cause a bad atmos - can only be a good thing. He doesn't want to play for them - simple as that. If he's forced to stay it'll be ace.

Lets not forget people were burning Gerrard shirts when he was flirting with Chelsea, so it's proof that fans can forgive and forget.

Although admittedly unlike Gerrard, Ronaldo has acted the **** in the whole thing I suppose.

It'll be exactly as Ronaldo said it would be in a interview a few weeks ago. Once he scores a couple of goals the fans will forget all about it. The injury will be a blessing in disguise as well as it will give the United fans a few months to calm down about it all and "forgive" him. He'll make a few token quotes about how he loves playing at Old Toilet and it will simmer down until next summer.

Dont think Gerrard is as loved now as he would have been if that never happened and as you say he didnt act as big a **** as Ronaldo. I am sure if he comes back and scores a few goals they wont give him much stick but the love will be lost. And that is if no other rumours crop up mid season, with Real that is never a guarantee.
