Thanks Reece and V for your comments and I look forward to spending the season on your board here. I did it a few years back on the Middlesbrough board, (Having moved north, I live 25 miles from there) and made some good friends and the occassional enemy. Great fun though.
I think it's great to see another teams fans going through the season and I am looking forward particularly to this one. I think there's something special happening at Anfield this season. Just a hunch.

        Anyway,
        Thanks again
        UP the yids!
Just to echo the others, welcome to the site fella, its really refreshing to see a fan of another club come on here to talk footy in a sane fashion rather than just act the ****... although to be fair, its usually just ManU and Everton fans that get their kicks that way

You guys are having a well interesting summer, statement of intent I thought with the Modric deal (and, to a lesser extent, Dos Santos), but with Berbatov and Keane possibly on their way off (for good money though) Ramos is going to have some serious work to do now on your forward line. Not quite sure who's available to replace them and its gotta be a blow if both do go, but I still reckon with a good start Spurs have the overall squad to make a real impression on the upper parts of the table with some wise acquisitions.

            welcome to the site..

best advice i can give you is dont post sick jokes in the joke section. - the mods or reece dont be happy bout that and can result in a quiet word in ones ear
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

I grew up watching Highway, Keegan and Toshack etc. I laughed from a caravan in Clacton the day I saw you paid £444,000 or whatever for some scottish geezer called Dalgleish! Ha ha I thought. Keegan has gone now. They won't replace him!
Ha, such cockney foolishness! Kenny signed on my tenth birthday and even the little whippersnapper I then was had for some time been fully aware of the greatness of this Celtic guy and quickly stopped bewailing the departure of my childhood hero (the perm-haired pop-star ****).

Nice to have a Spurs fan on the site - like Shaggy (who was born on the tenth anniversary of Kenny signing), I also have a soft spot for Spurs, ever since they signed Ardilles and Villa, and have had at least three good Spurs-supporting friends over the years. It's a club with a lot of character, I'd say I'd like to see you knock your rivals Arsenal out of the top four if it weren't for the sheer beauty of the way they play, so I will instead say, with full sincerity, that I hope you knock a certain other London club out of it.

Always disliked spurs with a passion, many a time i've mentioned to my mates that if they were ever successful they'd be right up there with Utd for being the most arrogant ****s. I remember being estatic when arsenal beat spurs in the league cup semi in 87, then looked what happened.............

                      Welcome aboard mate.

Oops! Not sure where my brain was last night - probably a combination of alcohol and, well, having ten more years of brain-cell-death than yourself.
