Nothing wrong with Spurs fans, and they've been the brunt of jokes for years. All them that I know are gracious, unlike Chelsea fans.
Good luck to them, they've well and truly broken in to the top 4 and perhaps some Liverpool fans will stop assuming that a top 4 place is our rightful passage. I'd love nothing more than to see us squeeze in to the top 4 and if that's at the expense of Arsenal and Chelsea then all the better.

Because u need to adjust prices according to the transfer record at the time as it is the transfer records that dictate the market. Modric was bought when Zidane @ 47 million quid was the record - that has to be adjusted to the current record of 80 million that Real paid for Ronaldo.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post
Is that a fact? He signed in 2008. You're trying to say that £16m in 2008 translates to almost double just three and a half years later?
Thereby making Robinho the most expensive player in England @ 55 million pounds & not Torres...Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

Er, if you are revaluing transfers in line with some sort of inflation, your definition of inflation should not be based on 2 transfers but an average of all transfers in the 2 years of measurement, or at the very least, a representative sample of transfers in those 2 years.Originally posted by Nick77 View PostBecause u need to adjust prices according to the transfer record at the time as it is the transfer records that dictate the market. Do you think the government measures inflations by the cost of Picassos at auction?Oh I don't know.

Hate Spurs and hate Redknapp but they're racking up the points and look a shoe-in for a top 4 place.
I still think there should be something in place which stops a £25m player going out on loan. Perhaps loans between teams in the same league can only be allowed if a player is under a certain age and classed as a "development loan" or something.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

I opened this thread to say thisOriginally posted by magicalbarnes View PostI was just wondering, if Man City decided to cancel Sprus agreement for Adabayour (or however its spelt) and recall him, would they be allowed to do this?
If i was Mancini i would be tempted to do this, taking their best striker off them!
