Gibbo, that made me feel all warm inside

Indeed, he's picking up what Martinez put down.

It’s probably in response to everybody wanking over AVB before he joined Chelsea, so I wanted him to fail, but I’m still not completely convinced by him.

I'm happy for him to stay at Spurs, for curiosity more than anything.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

The main worry with Laudrup would be he doesn't stay anywhere for long. Check his career history, he's barely been anywhere more than two seasons. If AVB were to ditch Spurs I'd think they'd be looking for longevity. They wouldn't be likely to find it with Laudrup IMO.

I'll be delighted if AVB leaves Spurs, but I doubt it will happen

Never mind Laudrup, AVB has never had a second season with one club in his career! One season and gone every time.

I knew someone would mention that. I'm aware of that , but they'd be replacing one likely short term manager with another, which would be a disaster.

He has looked good in the last couple of Brazil games I have seen. Could have done a job for us IMO. Would love it if Spurs miss out.

Whoever ends up landing Paulinho (Spurs, Inter, Roma?) will have an absolutely amazing player on their hands - trust me.

                        Really hope Spurs miss out!

                            Understandable really.

Who was their technical director before? They had that dutch chap at one point IIRC?
