No way. Much prefer him to go. Laudrup is a novice, could be anything, but more to the point having to start all over again would be a nightmare for Spurs. Their fans desperately want AVB to stay - him leaving would be bad for them and great for us.

It’s probably in response to everybody wanking over AVB before he joined Chelsea, so I wanted him to fail, but I’m still not completely convinced by him.

I'm happy for him to stay at Spurs, for curiosity more than anything.

The main worry with Laudrup would be he doesn't stay anywhere for long. Check his career history, he's barely been anywhere more than two seasons. If AVB were to ditch Spurs I'd think they'd be looking for longevity. They wouldn't be likely to find it with Laudrup IMO.

I knew someone would mention that. I'm aware of that , but they'd be replacing one likely short term manager with another, which would be a disaster.
