The amount of repair work them, Arsenal and the Mancs will need make me think transfer fees could spiral this summer. World Cup off seasons are usually the worst time to be signing players as well!

Lamela is obviously a good player but I reckon the guy just doesn't want to be there or in this country. Pretty sure he'll want to go back to Italy or a Spanish-speaking country. Would be too much of a risk for us and I suspect there are other players with similar or greater talent who'd be a better fit for us and have the mental strength to cope.

A few good judges reckon Paulinho would be a great fit for us but having watched him I just don't see it. Reminds me of Lampard - pops up in threatening positions, scores goals, but otherwise doesn't seem to contribute massively to a game.
