I forgot this was on until I went to BBC and saw headline "Kane among goals as Spurs thrash Tranmere" why is it always about Kane?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Just make them play at Wembley for the entire season. Enough of this ****ery from a boring club.

That call should have been made on the day of their first 'home' game.

They are making fools of themselves now, but i guess financially they need to be in their own stadium as soon as is possible.

the Premier league must now insist they remain there all season; although part of me thinks it would be amusing to see Warnock combust, if they allowed them to play Huddersfield at the new stadium in April & Huddersfield won the game.

The stadium looks amazing to be fair. If it affects their ability to sign players for several years though will it have been worth it? I'm sure it will pay off in the long term, but will the damage already have been done?

I think our approach to iterating on the current stadium makes more sense to be honest.

Reading between the lines, they'll be in the new stadium for the run in.

That could go either way for them.
                    Oh I don't know.

                      Big problems for Spurs.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says he is worried that Harry Kane was injured against Manchester United - and if he is "it is going to be massive for us".

Kane had to be helped from the pitch at Wembley after being hurt in a last-minute challenge as United won 1-0.

"It was a clear foul on Harry Kane, a big hit, [referee] Mike Dean said he didn't see it," Pochettino said.

"It was a bad tackle and now he has bit of a swelling on his ankle."

Kane - who had seven shots as Spurs failed to find a way past United goalkeeper David de Gea - had an ankle injury in 2018 and missed 10 games the season before with a similar injury to the same ankle.

Spurs midfielder Moussa Sissoko was also injured, being replaced before half-time.

"It wasn't the intention of the United player but it was a bad tackle and Kane was limping after the game," Pochettino added.

"We are going to lose Son Heung-min for the Asia Cup and if Kane suffers an injury, it is going to be massive for us. He twisted his ankle and we hope that it is not a big issue."
                      Modifying post.

                        9 points off the lead
                        Kane injured
                        Sissoko injured
Son going to Asia cup soon

Can Spurs hold onto a top 4 place without those three?

**** thats as about a bad a result as you can suffer, out of the title race, star striker out, important midfielder out, beaten by a side who have not beaten anyone up until that point and the opposition pulls off worldie after worldie

I'm not saying they are definitely out of the race, but it's getting a little unlikely for them now. If they lose Kane and Son for the rest of January they will be in trouble.
