I think it does matter Shaggy. Not from a white Nazi type angle, but as football is progressing, more and more black players are becoming evident. As in some other sports such as Athletics (Short distance racing) etc, I feel the game is relying more and more on athleticism rather than abilities.
Not that they don't have the abilities, just that something is changing because it's not representational of the population.

I don't think Defoe is good enough week in week out either.
But Portsmouth's midfield was atrocious today, offered nothing and they looked like the could not be arsed.

Diop's a holding midfielder, so he played him on the right. Traore's a defender, so he played him left wing. Useless selection.
