The sums involved are too big. Like the fella said £35 is a computer game or a good night out, something you can go without for a weekend and in return you get to be part of a living, breathing football club.
If this was the early 90s when Utd and the like were valued at £20M then ShareLiverpool might have a hope in hell. But when the owners want £400M there's no chance, especially in times like these with the credit crunch and world economic downturn. Finding fans with 5,000 quid to spare is not going to be easy. Which is sad, because it's the solution I'd like to see.Comment
