    Thats a pretty good idea.

To be fair though would you rather have a team down to ten men for the remainder of the match or 1 penalty kick?

Id choose to play against 10 to be honest.

I thought Keane had kicked it too far ahead and ferdinand would have easily cleared up anyway, and I also thought the 2nd vidic yellow warranted a straight red.

A red card can range from a 90 min advantage to a 10 second advantage or less. A last minute red card stops a goal and gives practically no advantage.

Tough call the first takcle - at the game, the second vidic fouled keane I was creaming straight red - but also at the game i was screaming straigh red for rooney being an ugly blue ****e mance fat cunt, and screaming straight red for the blatant handball that blocekd alonso's drive that led to ur equaliser. Having had 5 pints starting at 11am and sitting in the anfield road end about 10 seats away from those manc cunts kinda does that too you

Having watched the match on tv now - it's difficult, borderline sending off the tackle, imo it was just as bad as terry's and could have been a sending off. In hindsight he was lucky to escape with a yellow which is a fairish decision and he should have learnt from that and not done anyting stupid.
So at bare minimum vidic derserved the first booking. Then came the 2nd booking, which noone can can complain about, he led high with his arm was not looking at the ball, he just closed his eyes and lunged himself in. And it's a blatant booking, as it's his 2nd he's off and I don't see how anyone can dispute that.

I have seen people get sent off for less than that 2nd challenge. If you made a scale going from 1 to 10 - with 1 being getting sent for joking with the ref shwoing him the red card (ala gazza) and ten being roy keane on haaland i'd say

        first challenge 7/10
        second challenge 4/10

I think fergie is the type of manager that everyone want at their club or at least he is what you want your manager to be like.

he loves his club, puts his team before any country or organisation.

hes loyal to his players only as long as it benifits his team

he puts the boot into his rivals whenever possible and manipulates everyone and everything around him to get every advantage for his team

the sickening thing is hes at our biggest rivals and its us hes putting the boot into
Im only on here for silly season

the rest of the time im too stressed
