Ashley to some extent wanted to be one of the fans, the whole going to the match in his shirt, going into the stand to watch games rather than the executive box etc smacks of him wanting acceptance and his ego massaging. Now there's no chance of him getting that he's walking away as he knows he's not wanted which is fair enough.

Newcastle are in talks with Zabeel Investments with a view to them buying the club, that's what i like to see, no ****in about, could be sorted quickly for the daft as **** Geordies, rather than a long slow painful drawn out saga of epic proportions being burdened on them.

Zabeel was part of the consortium which wanted to buy Liverpool. They are a branch out from the Dubai Holding like DIC. They do the property, real estate part of DH. If you haven't guessed by now, they are serious.Comment
